Cookie Policy

Effective Date: May 12, 2026  ·  Harrelson Group LLC  ·  legal@turbine-trader.com

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time so you don't have to re-enter them each time you visit. Cookies also help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it.

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and session storage. This policy covers all such technologies collectively.

2. Cookies We Use

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking cookies.

3. Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are required for the Platform to function. They enable core features such as authentication, security protections, and session management. You cannot opt out of essential cookies without disabling the Platform entirely, as they are necessary for its operation.

4. Functional Cookies

Functional cookies enhance your experience by remembering your preferences and settings. They are not strictly necessary for basic functionality but significantly improve usability. Disabling them may result in a degraded experience where your preferences are not retained between visits.

5. Analytics Cookies

We use first-party analytics to understand how users interact with the Platform — which features are used, where users encounter friction, and how listings are discovered. This data is used solely to improve the Platform. It is not sold or shared with advertisers.

Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized where possible. It does not identify you personally.

6. Third-Party Services

Certain features of the Platform integrate with third-party services that may set their own cookies:

  • Google OAuth: Used for sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
  • LinkedIn OAuth: Used for sign-in. Subject to LinkedIn's Privacy Policy
  • Google Fonts: Used for typography. Fonts are loaded via Google's CDN, which may log request metadata per Google's data policies

We do not control cookies set by third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy and cookie policies.

7. Managing Cookies

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View all cookies currently stored on your device
  • Delete cookies individually or in bulk
  • Block all cookies or cookies from specific domains
  • Set preferences for cookie acceptance before they are stored

Note that disabling cookies may prevent some parts of the Platform from functioning correctly. In particular, blocking all cookies will prevent you from logging in.

Browser-specific guidance: Chrome · Firefox · Safari · Edge

8. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. The Platform currently does not alter its behavior in response to DNT signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for how to respond to them. We will revisit this as standards evolve.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Platform evolves or as regulatory requirements change. Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email.
